What you’re paying for

Every plan gets the whole pipeline: ingestion, SHACL validation, named-graph storage, resolvable versioned URLs, dependency resolution, and the validation client — so every published version is a schema your own data (or anyone else’s) can be validated against, for free, forever. We don’t meter ontologies, versions, ingestion runs, or storage, and there are no per-seat limits on what a seat can do.

What a paid plan changes is who can treat your schema as authoritative. A public ontology is a pinned, citeable version anyone can validate against — that stays free, always. Pro lets you keep that same authority private, visible only to you. Org extends it to your GitHub organisation, so a private schema your team publishes is still one citeable version everyone on the team validates against — not a file passed around by hand. How Org seats work

A Ontoshire organisation is your GitHub organisation — there’s nothing separate to create or invite people to. A seat is a member who has signed in to Ontoshire at least once, so you’re never billed for colleagues who don’t use it.

The count keeps itself current as people join and leave, and changes are prorated onto your next invoice in both directions. Adding someone never triggers an immediate charge. Orgs & seats has the full detail.

Details

• Prices are in US dollars. Annual billing costs ten months for twelve, on both paid plans.
• Paid plans get roughly ten times the SPARQL and API rate limits of the free tier. Limits exist to stop abuse, not to cap real use.
• Payment and invoices are handled by Stripe. You can change plan or cancel yourself, at any time, from your billing page.
• Cancelling doesn’t delete anything, and it never publishes anything. Private ontologies stay private: they stop resolving for validation and imports at the end of the period you’ve already paid for, and start again if you resubscribe. You can view and export them at any time, and we tell you exactly what will change before you confirm.
• Paid plans run until you cancel them. For an Org plan, that stays true if the GitHub organisation is deleted — whoever managed the billing can still cancel it, and Orgs & seats explains how.
